With the release of its second full-length pushed to next year, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead will fill the coming months with a fall North American tour. The run will kick off Oct. 7 at Emo's in Austin, Texas, and wrap Nov. 13 in the same venue, according to the band's booking agency.
A handful of dates remain unconfirmed, including Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 stops in Houston and New Orleans, respectively. Also, as Emo's is selling tickets for two different shows on Nov. 13 (A Simple Plan early; Pinback late), so it is possible that the tour's final date will change.
Thought to be named "Worlds Apart," the new Trail Of Dead album was moved out of Interscope's busy fourth-quarter release schedule, which is crowded with albums by U2, Eminem and No Doubt lead singer Gwen Stefani. The release will be the follow-up to 2002's "Source Tags & Codes," which bowed at No. 17 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and has sold more than 107,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
