Two of pop/punk's biggest acts, Good Charlotte and Sum 41, will join forces for a fall North American tour. At deadline, 12 shows were confirmed, beginning Oct. 21 in Seattle. The outing is expected to run through late November, with support from Hazen Street, an act signed to Good Charlotte's D.C. Flag label.

As previously reported, both Good Charlotte and Sum 41 are about to release new albums. The former's "The Chronicles of Life and Death" is due Oct. 5 via Daylight/Epic, and will be issued as both a "Life" and "Death" edition, each with an exclusive track. First single "Predictable" is No. 32 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart.

Sum 41's "Chuck" arrives Oct. 12 via Island Def Jam. First single "We're All To Blame" is No. 27 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart this week.
