Reba McEntire has partnered with Little Rock, Ark.-based department store chain Dillard's to launch a line of women's clothing. The "Reba" line will debut in March 2005 in 147 Dillard's stores and on the chain's Web site.

This marks the veteran country artist's first foray into fashion. Dillard's describes the line as "a sophisticated, versatile collection reflecting her own sense of style, for women who share her time constraints and active lifestyle."

The company says McEntire is involved in all aspects of the design process in conjunction with New York-based fashion design firm Icon Creations. The line includes career, casual and sportswear in sizes 4-14 and ranging in price from $48 to $289.

"Women should feel terrific and confident about how they look each moment of their lives and the clothes that we wear play a huge role in evoking these feelings," McEntire says. "I created 'Reba' to help women achieve this."
