The Cure will release a deluxe edition of its 1979 debut, "Three Imaginary Boys," internationally on Nov. 29 and Dec. 7 in North America via Geffen. According to the band's official Web site, the double-disc package includes the original version digitally remastered by Chris Blair as well as a disc of rarities dating from 1977 to 1979.

Those tracks include six previously unreleased songs as well as 15 selections previously unavailable on CD. Included are home demos, outtakes and live versions of such tracks as "10:15 Saturday Night," "Accuracy," and "Subway Song." The album also contains previously unseen photographs from the personal collection of frontman Robert Smith.

"Three Imaginary Boys" has never been issued in North America. However, a revamped version with several singles replacing album tracks was released as "Boys Don't Cry" in 1980 by Fiction/PVC, and reissued in 1998 via Elektra.

The Cure has been off the road since wrapping its North American Curiosa festival. A spokesperson says there are no current plans for additional shows this year.
