With some distance since the Jonas Brothers announced they'd be going their separate ways back in October 2013, the oldest JoBro is now reflecting on that time in his life.

Kevin appeared on Z100's Elvis Duran and the Morning Show on May 6, where he opened up about how he felt in the wake of that life-changing decision.

"Notice how when [the Jonas Brothers] went dark, we went dark. We didn't do a single interview, we didn't talk to anybody, we just went dark," he shared."I just got really depressed for a while. There's a mourning process."

While Jonas has since put his focus on other projects, he does admit that there are facets of his life as a pop star that he does miss at times. "I miss touring," he said, via People. "I miss seeing people on the road. I miss that adrenaline rush, there's nothing like it."

And, for the record, Kevin is not, well, jealous of Nick, who has sice gone on to have a successful solo career.

"I don't know how many times I literally hear this. It's the worst pun in the world from some idiotic frat guy. It's like, 'You must be 'Jealous' of Nick!' … Constantly! It's like, why? He's doing his thing. I'm doing mine!" he said. "He's happy. I'm happy."

Given all the attention the JoBros break-up received at the time, Kevin offered up his own piece of wisdom for Zayn Malik, who left One Direction back in March.

"In the midst of that intensity, he should go dark for a long time," he said. "You gotta go dark for at least six weeks! Like, underground, you gotta go hard, like you're done. … You have to let the dust clear. Anything you do then will be scrutinized."

By the way, Kevin also shared there's no immediate plans for a JoBros reunion anytime soon. Well, now we're depressed.
