Top Rock Acts Bequeath To Benefit Auction

Texas-based rock act Los Super Seven gets a lift from a host of roots rock artists on its third studio album, "Heart It on the X." The set is due March 22 as the first release in a new deal with Telar

Memorabilia from Madonna, Pearl Jam, Simon & Garfunkel, Sarah McLachlan and the Pixies will be on the block Sunday (Nov. 28) via Internet auction site eBay, as part of a benefit auction for non-profit advocacy organization People for the American Way.

Madonna is making available gold and platinum awards for her "Ray of Light" album, which will be customized with the winning bidder's name. Simon & Garfunkel, John Mayer, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Eagles have donated signed instruments, while Pearl Jam, the Pixies, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera have chipped in with autographed posters.

Fans can also bid on handwritten lyrics from McLachlan, Aimee Mann, Hoobastank and the Black Eyed Peas, as well as autographed CDs from Van Halen, James Taylor, Rod Stewart and Melissa Etheridge.
