No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani will bring her solo act to the stage of the Billboard Music Awards, set for Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, to be broadcast live on Fox. She joins previously confirmed performers Green Day and Nelly.

In other news, the event will be hosted by "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, and will feature a special appearance by Fox personalities Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie, stars of the network's series "The Simple Life." Others newly confirmed to take part are country artists Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson, R&B star Macy Gray and reality television star-turned singer-turned actress Kelly Osbourne.

Others who were previously announced as appear during the event are Alicia Keys, Duran Duran, Ashlee Simpson, Fantasia, Nick Lachey and Chingy. Stevie Wonder will receive Billboard's Century Award, the magazine's highest honor for creative achievement.

Finalists, additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
