Along with playing the lead in the forthcoming feature "Be Cool," Christina Milian contributes two new songs to the film's soundtrack, due March 1 via TVT. "Ain't No Reason" was co-written by Alicia Keys and Rich Harrison, who co-wrote and produced Beyoncé's hit "Crazy in Love." The soundtrack's other Milian exclusive is "Believer," which was co-written by Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am.

"It's probably the best I have done so far," Milian recently said of "Believer" in response to a fan's question on her official Web site.

"Be Cool" is the sequel to "Get Shorty," which finds John Travolta reprising his role as Chili Palmer, a one-time mobster aspiring to make a mark in the music business. Milian plays singer Linda Moon, rescued from an all-girl covers group and bad management by Palmer, who encourages her to write and record her own songs.

The Black Eyed Peas also appear as themselves in "Be Cool," performing the "Elephunk" track "Sexy." That song is also on the soundtrack, as is a cut from co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, "You Ain't Woman Enough." The balance of the set features previously released cuts from Baby Bash, the Commodores and Earth Wind & Fire, among others.

Directed by F. Gary Gray ("The Italian Job," "The Negotiator"), "Be Cool" also stars Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, OutKast's Andre 3000, Danny DeVito, Uma Thurman, Vince Vaughan and Harvey Keitel. The film is set to open March 4 in U.S. theaters.
