Eric Paslay Engaged to Longtime Girlfriend
Country singer Eric Paslay is heading to the altar.
The "Friday Night" warbler, who has also written tracks for Lady Antebellum and Rascal Flatts, recently told The Tennessean that he proposed over the holidays to his longtime girlfriend, Natalie Harker. The couple met when Harker worked at Paslay's music publisher. "She was the one that got a bunch of my songs cut, heck, all of my hits recorded," said Paslay, 32. "Friendship turned into something a lot deeper. It is kind of wild how some stories roll out."
The couple has already begun planning their wedding, which will take place in Nashville this spring. However, Paslay said he won't be spinning any of his hits at the reception – a fitting thematic choice, given his current single is the mournful ballad "She Don't Love You."
"That'd just be arrogant and awful," he told The Tennessean of playing his own material. "It is hard, though. I have all these favorite songs. She wants me to pick the first dance and all of that. It's hard to choose. It will be fun."
