Bill Cosby's Former TV Wife Thinks 'Someone Is Determined to Keep Him Off TV'

Phylicia Rashad, who played Bill Cosby's wife Clair Huxtable on The Cosby Show, addressed the rape accusations surrounding her former co-star on Tuesday (Jan. 6).

According to Showbiz411, Rashad said, "Forget these women. What you're seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it's orchestrated. I don't know why or who's doing it... Someone is determined to keep Bill Cosby off TV, and it's worked. All his contracts have been canceled."

Bill Cosby Won't Be Charged Over Molestation Claim

Like Rashad, Cosby's real-life wife and one of his daughters have dismissed the accusations. More than 20 women have claimed that they were raped or sexually abused by Cosby. A defamation lawsuit was filed against the comedian last month in Massachusetts.
