R&B artist Tweet will release her first album in nearly three years next month. The 15-track "It's Me Again" is due March 22 via Violator/Atlantic and was executive produced by Missy Elliott, who was also behind the boards for Tweet's 2002 debut, "Southern Hummingbird."

Elliott appears on "Things I Don't Mean" and first single "Turn Da Lights Off," which jumps 85-76 in its third week on Billboard's Hot R&B Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. The set also features a duet with Tweet's 15-year-old daughter Tashawna on "The Two of Us."

"This album is happier," says Tweet. "It's all about being cool with yourself and comfortable in your own skin." To wit, the track "Cab Ride" sports a sample of the theme music from the sitcom "Taxi." "Everybody used to love the show," the artist offers. "So we took the music from that and made it into a beautiful ballad."

"Southern Hummingbird" was a tremendously successful debut, reaching No. 3 on The Billboard 200 and selling nearly 855,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
