Recorded in October at the storied San Francisco venue, the 12-track disc features the band augmenting selections from its self-titled debut album with covers and one new song.
Due Tuesday (Feb. 22) via Or Music/Epic, the album closes with the hit single "Heaven." The Texas-based trio -- brothers Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza -- performed the song during the multi-artist opening segment of the Grammy Awards, and took home the first trophy presented during the broadcast for best pop performance by a duo or group with vocal.
Other "Live at the Fillmore" highlights are the Grammy-nominated instrumental "Onda," the previously unreleased song "Man to Beat," and covers of War's "Cisco Kid" and Richie Valens' "La Bamba." Keyboardist Reese Wynans rounds out the group's live sound.
Released in March 2003, "Los Lonely Boys" reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart in April 2004 and peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200 in July. The set has sold 1.8 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
"Heaven" is in its 16th non-consecutive week at No. 1 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. Album track "More Than Love," also included on "Live at the Fillmore," peaked last month at No. 31 on the AC tally.
