Less than one week after Kesha's mother added another lawsuit to the increasingly messy legal battle between her daughter and producer Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Gottwald has filed a new lawsuit -- this time, he's suing Kesha's lawyer for defamation.

Mark Geragos -- who is representing the pop star in a lawsuit against Gottwald that alleges mental, emotional and sexual abuse -- recently made comments on Twitter that seemed to imply Dr. Luke had raped Lady Gaga. Gaga, who told Howard Stern on Dec. 2 that a producer 20 years her senior raped her when she was a teenager, flatly denied that Gottwald was the man who raped her.

After Gaga's Stern interview came out, Geragos tweeted, "Guess who the rapists [sic] was?" When someone tweeted "Lukasz" at him, Geragos responded, "#bingo."

Inside Kesha & Dr. Luke's Dueling Lawsuits

On Monday in a New York court, Gottwald and his attorneys filed suit against Geragos for the "horrific, outrageous and maliciously false assertion that [Gottwald] raped the world famous musical artist Lady Gaga." The lawsuit claims Geragos' comments were intended to "humiliate and severely damage" Gottwald's public image. It also blasts Geragos for keeping his comments online after Gaga publicly refuted the alleged rape accusation.

As of Monday, Geragos' "bingo" tweet has been deleted, but his initial tweet is still live.

Billboard reached out to Geragos' reps for comment and will continue updating this developing story.
