Marco Antonio Solis, Thalia and Juanes will headline the Billboard Latin Music Awards, set for April 28 at the Miami Arena. The show, which will be broadcast live on Telemundo, will also feature performances by Juan Luis Guerra, Olga Tañon, Pepe Aguilar, Conjunto Primavera, Franco de Vita, Aleks Syntek, AB Quintanilla III and Daddy Yankee.
As previously reported, Solis leads the field as a finalist in eight categories stemming from two pop albums and for compilations from his grupero days with Los Bukis. He is also due to receive the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award, given by the magazine in recognition of an outstanding career and artistic achievements.
Juanes, meanwhile, is a finalist in five categories and Thalia, whose performance will mark the premiere of a new song, is a finalist in two.
Honoring the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music, as determined by the sales and radio airplay data used in compiling the weekly Billboard charts, the Billboard Latin Music Awards will bring to a close the 16th annual Billboard Latin Music Conference, to be held April 25-28 at the Hotel Intercontinental in Miami
