Dave Matthews Band will overtake New York's Randall's Island on July 30-31 for its first Island Getaway event. The group will be joined at the first show by Barenaked Ladies and Robert Randolph and the Family Band on the mainstage, while Mike Doughty, Jem and Ray LaMontagne will perform on the second stage.
The lineup is identical for the second night, apart from Black Eyed Peas replacing Barenaked Ladies on the mainstage. Tickets go on sale Saturday (April 23) via Ticketmaster.
Island Getaway will take place during DMB's summer tour in support of its new album, "Stand Up," due May 10 via RCA. The cut is No. 17 in its third week on Billboard's Adult Top 40 chart.
Fans who pre-order the album via DMB's official Web site before May 6 will release an exclusive bonus CD featuring the non-album tracks "Joyride" and "Trouble With You," plus live versions of "Recently," "Crash Into Me" and "Hello Again" recorded during the 2004 tour.
Members of DMB fan association Warehouse who pre-order the disc will be bestowed with three extra tracks on the bonus disc: live takes on "Sugar Will" and "Typical Situation" plus a studio outtake dubbed "Mark and Carter Jam."
All pre-orderers will be entered into a drawing for a trip for 2 to any DMB summer show plus a meet-and-greet with Matthews.
