The group is in the midst of a South American trek that drops in on Panama City tomorrow (May 20). For now, the Stripes' lone North American date comes June 10 at Atlanta's Music Midtown festival, but an extensive tour is in the works for later this year.
The Detroit-based duo's new album, "Get Behind Me Satan," is due June 7 via V2. First single "Blue Orchid" is No. 9 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart this week; a video was recently shot with director Floria Sigismondi.
