Over one million people have already downloaded Thom Yorke’s new collection of trippy electronic loops and high-pitched vocals, Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes. The album was released via BitTorrent Bundle Sept. 26 for the low, low price of $6.

But Yorke figured some of his fans didn’t have this whole Internet thing figured out (except for email, evidently) and issued a friendly reminder on Wednesday morning.

In the message (which you can read here) Yorke begins, “You may not have heard that I put a record out recently. It’s called Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes.”

Then, in the fear-of-the-future paranoid spirit found in much of Radiohead’s work, he tosses some shade at social media. “This may be perhaps you don’t engage with ‘social media’… in which case you have my utmost respect.”

The message follows with a link to details on his BitTorrent experiment and information on how to purchase the album.
