Check Out AlunaGeorge's Brand New Track 'Supernatural'

Their debut album Body Music came out just last year, but U.K. alterna-pop duo AlunaGeorge already have album number two on the mind. In that spirit, they’ve just dropped a brand new song called “Supernatural” that could very well be the first sampling of their sophomore effort.

And they’re not just rehashing the Body Music sound, either. Aluna Francis’ upper-register vocals are a common thread, but George Reid’s beat leaves the sensual R&B vibes behind for a sound that’s much more propulsive -- think Cut Copy. Francis did collaborate with Disclosure, after all. And we still hear the distorted background vocals tossed into the mix (like on Body Music’s “Your Drums, Your Love”).

Also, check out the album artwork for “Supernatural,” which features a spiffy new triangular AlunaGeorge logo. Let’s just hope Ellie Goulding doesn’t get upset over it looking a little like hers.

The track premiered Friday (Oct. 3) on Annie Mac's show on BBC Radio 1.

AlunaGeorge currently doesn't have any tour dates planned, so we can hope they are (or were) hard at work in the studio prepping more tracks like this.
