We already know the cold doesn't bother her.
Idina Menzel somehow found the time between starring on Broadway and fielding near-constant Frozen questions to record a Christmas album. Today, the singer announced that the project, Holiday Wishes, will drop Oct. 14.
The album, produced by Walter Afanasieff, will include "A Holly Jolly Christmas," "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," and Joni Mitchell’s Christmas-themed "River," one of Menzel’s favorites, according to a press release.
At Menzel's one-night-only Radio City Music Hall show earlier this summer, the singer shared that among the holiday classics, there would also be at least one original song, "December Prayer," on the album. At the same event, she joked, "I know I'm Jewish. But a lot of famous Jewish people have written Christmas songs, so I'm going to try out some of their songs on the album."
Menzel is currently starring on Broadway in her Tony-nominated role in If/Then. She's expected to reprise her role as animated Elsa in Disney's Frozen short, Frozen Fever, next spring.
