1998 - Rapper Noreaga is labeled a fugitive by police who seek the missing artist in connection with an assault at a post-concert melee. The rapper arrives four hours late for a concert, and is booed off stage after one song. Angry fans follow Noreaga to the parking lot, where one person reportedly throws a bicycle at the rapper's car. Noreaga and his bodyguard then allegedly beat up a 16-year-old, who is later treated for injuries and released.
1997 - The first Genesis album in six years is premiered live on a radio special and simultaneous webcast at www.atlantic-records.com. The band plays songs from its new set "Calling All Stations," its first album with singer Ray Wilson.
