Kid Ink was reportedly arrested in Las Vegas on Saturday (August 16) while he was in town to perform at 1 OAK nightclub. He was booked by authorities for disturbing the peace and later released on Saturday afternoon without posting bail.
According to TMZ, police arrived at the Sin City hotspot, which is located inside the Mirage, after they were called to the scene about a fight that had broken out. The site further reports that an unnamed woman affiliated with Kid Ink started the scuffle, per eyewitnesses. Kid Ink and the female were allegedly leaving the club around 2 a.m. "acting belligerent." After security approached them, that's when it got physical.
She was reportedly booked on giving a false statement. He will have to appear in court Monday tied to his charge of disturbing the peace.
A rep for the rapper had not responded to Billboard's request for comment by press time.
Prior to the report, the rapper has re-tweeted several Instagram photos, posted by fans, which showed off the crowd that showed up to his Friday night performance. However, as of press time, he has not tweeted about the incident.
He is next slated to play the Uforia Music Festival in Los Angeles on Saturday night and then will play Santa Ana, CA on Sunday before taking his tour abroad later next week.
