Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, DMX, Fabolous & Foxy Brown among performers scheduled for Brooklyn concert.

Five months after Def Jam celebrated its 30th anniversary at SXSW, the party is coming to Brooklyn.

The game-changing record label will celebrate three decades of trend-setting hip-hop with an Oct. 16 concert at Barclays Center. As you'd expect, the performers feting Def Jam make up an all-star roster: Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, DMX, Fabolous, Foxy Brown, Jhene Aiko, Ashanti, Ja Rule, Redman, Method Man, Onyx, Jeremih, Warren G and rap pioneers EPMD, a duo that's been around almost as long as Def Jam.

With the event poster promising "more [performers] to be announced," tickets to the concert go on sale Friday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m. ET. You can get access to an Aug. 21 ticket presale by buying the Def Jam Recordings' Greatest Hits box set before Aug. 20 on Def Jam's site.
