Danny Brown-featuring single boosts the Glasgow producer.

Glasgow native Russell Whyte, aka Rustie, has been frequenting the real-time Billboard Emerging Artists chart as well as the Billboard Twitter Trending 140 after the release of "Attak," featuring Danny Brown.

Released July 24, the song appeared that day at No. 2 on the Trending chart and remained in the top 20 for five consecutive days. As a result, the following week, Rustie appeared at No. 2 on the Emerging chart.

On Monday, Rustie appeared back up at No. 2 on the Trending chart after releasing the music video for "Attak."

This is not the first time Rustie and Brown have collaborated. Rustie was responsible for producing a number of songs on Brown's album Old, which was released in fall 2013 to a No. 18 debut on the Billboard 200.

The single follows the release of "Raptor," which was the first single from his forthcoming Green Language LP. The album is set to arrive Aug. 26 through Warp Records. Rustie first emerged onto the scene through Numbers, a label responsible for producing experimental artists like Sophie and Hudson Mohawke.

The ninth track on the Green Language LP, "Velcro," which is not available yet on iTunes, scored an Adidas commercial during the World Cup. The commercial featured Argentinean soccer player Lionel Messi as he cleverly maneuvers a soccer ball through the winding streets of Barcelona.
