Christian Borle will be part of NBC's Peter Pan Live!, a tweet from producers confirmed Wednesday night.

The Tony-winning actor, who portrayed Max Detweiler in last year's Carrie Underwood-led Sound of Music Live!, will portray both Mr. Darling as well as Captain Hook's right-hand man, Smee. Traditionally in the stage show, the actor who portrays Mr. Darling also portrays Captain Hook. For this show, Captain Hook will be played by Christopher Walken, and Girls' Allison Williams will take on the title role of Peter.

Fun fact: Borle won the 2012 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his role in Broadway’s Peter and the Starcatcher, a revisionist origin story where Borle played Black Stache, the character who would eventually go on to be Captain Hook.

Peter Pan Live! will air on NBC Dec. 4.
