'Making the Rules' quietly hit DVD in May

No, this is not a Funny or Die spoof of a rom-com. This is Robin Thicke wooing Jaime Pressly in a real movie called "Making the Rules," which went straight to DVD and On Demand in May.

In the film — shot in 2012, a year before his "Blurred Lines" breakout — Thicke's Shaun goes after his married ex, Abby (Pressly). "Making the Rules" marks the singer's movie debut, but it's far from his first acting gig; that would be his stint as "Boy" on a "Wonder Years" episode in 1989.
