Metallica Releases Bloopers from ESPN Segment: Watch

Following last week's clever ESPN clip showing Metallica trying to fill a void left open by the 2013 retirement of New York Yankees Mariano Rivera, who used "Enter Sandman" for his on-field entrance music, the heavy metal band has now released a blooper reel that's about as funny as the final cut.

In it, the group and SportsCenter anchors botch lines and improvise various deliveries. Especially of note is Kirk Hammett who shines with overeagerness, offering group rate lessons and flamenco guitar lessons. He also jumps at ESPN anchor Scott Van Pelt's critique, "It's a little bit aggressive" when editing footage of the PGA senior tour with a quick and heartfelt, "Thank you."
