With the false rape accusations behind him, renowned songsmith Conor Oberst continues to promote this year's solo full length, "Upside Down Mountain."

Today (July 18), Oberst shared a brand new music video, set to the warm, fuzzy acoustic number "You Are Your Mother's Child," from his solo album.

It's a track that should connect with fans of all the Bright Eyes classics, bringing to mind stripped-down odes like "First Day of My Life" and "Lua." In the lyrics, Oberst reflects on childhood with lines like, "You are your mother's child / she'll have you for a while / but someday you'll be grown / then you'll be on your own."

The music video was filmed on Fire Island and directed by Greg Marinaccio.

This Monday, the woman who accused Oberst of raping her in an XO Jane post last year finally admitted to fabricating the whole story. Two days ago (July 16), Oberst formally accepted the apology of Joanie Faircloth (real name Joan Elizabeth Harris) in a public statement.
