5 Seconds of Summer may have played colorful superheroes in their video for "Don't Stop," but the foursome are getting serious (and not in color) in the lyric video for their track, "Amnesia."

The video was filmed in simple black-and-white, playing up the slow jam's theme of wanting to forget about the girl who left them heartbroken.

In between shots of the guys sitting in front of a plain white backdrop looking rather emotional (and, of course swoonworthy), are lingering shots of a messy bedroom. Lyrics from the ballad are featured on the screen. They appear on the objects in the room, as well as the faces and bodies of the guys.

As the video nears the end, singer Luke Hemmings sings the track before the video cuts back to the empty bedroom. The emptiness mirrors the song's lyrics about missing a lost love. The video ends with each of the guys getting up from their marks and walking off.

"Amnesia" is the latest release from the Australian band. The video premiered today (July 1). And, U.S. fans won’t have to wait much longer to hear all of 5SOS' self-titled debut album. It's due out July 22.  The band will join One Direction on their Where We Are Tour this summer.
