Police scanner audio from the shooting involving ScHoolboy Q last Thursday (June 19) has been released, via TMZ.

In the calls between dispatchers and the police, one can hear police say that eight cop cars were en route to the scene and were "rifle ready." A dispatcher mentions two people were harmed ("One was shot in the head [and] other was shot in the back") and a possibility of a "car chase."

The shooting took place on Thursday after a concert at Red Rocks amphitheater. Someone reportedly fired shots at a white SUV after the show, which Q was in.

He wasn't harmed, but according to the Associated Press, three other people in the vehicle were taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The people in the vehicle, including Q, drove themselves to a Denver intersection close to 15 miles away from the venue, in search of a hospital. They were stopped by Denver police.

Q and another person who wasn't injured were briefly handcuffed but not arrested. Those injured were taken to a nearby hospital.

"im str8.... don't trip," Q tweeted after.

No arrests were made, but Jackie Kelly, a spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, says they're investigating the motive behind the attack.
