British singer/songwriter James Blunt is pairing with Jason Mraz for select tour dates this fall during his first North American tour. His run is set to open Oct. 24 in Denver with dates confirmed through Nov. 26 and more expected.
The tour comes in support of Blunt's debut album, "Back To Bedlam," released Tuesday in the United States via Atlantic. The album was previously issued in the United Kingdom in October 2004, and spent nine non-consecutive weeks in the No. 1 slot on the U.K. album chart. The set also spawned the No. 1 single "You’re Beautiful."
Earlier this week Blunt began a 16-day U.K. tour that visits Liverpool, England, tonight (Oct. 7). An additional tour of Ireland and England is slated for January.
Stateside, he will play support dates for labelmate Mraz along with his own scheduled headliners. He will also make appearances on NBC's "Today" (Nov. 3) and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" (Nov. 11).
Mraz most recently appeared on the Queen tribute album "Killer Queen," released in August, shortly after releasing his sophomore album "Mr. A-Z" in July.
