After Mary J. Blige gave Disclosure's "F For You" a makeover earlier this year, the R&B queen has stopped by Sam Smith's latest single, "Stay With Me," and contributed vocals to the gospel-tinged track. Listen to the new version, which premiered Monday morning (June 2), below:

"Working with Mary J. Blige is one of the biggest highlights of my career so far," says Smith in a statement. "I remember holding her album in my hands in the car when I was a young boy. To meet your idols is a magical thing, but to work with them is truly a dream come true."

The Blige-assisted version of "Stay With Me" is now available at iTunes, and Smith's debut album, "In The Lonely Hour," is out in the U.S. on June 17. The album scored a No. 1 debut this week in the U.K., where "Stay With Me" recently hit No. 1 on the singles chart.

Last week, Smith revealed that "In The Lonely Hour" was inspired by "a guy that I fell in love with last year," but that did not reciprocate his feelings. "It’s all there now, and I can move on and hopefully find a guy who can love me the way I love him."
