The Dec. 12 show at L.A.'s House of Blues will feature Wallflowers frontman Jakob Dylan, with Jesse Malin also on board. Additional artists and ticket information will be confirmed next week.
Details are still being worked out for the Rome edition, due to take place near the end of November. The show will be held at the Italian city's Big Mama club with a lineup still to be confirmed.
Like the Nov. 4-6 New Jersey shows, proceeds from the L.A. and Rome events will benefit the Parkinson's Disease Foundation and the patient support programs of the ALS Association's Greater Philadelphia Chapter. The annual event is organized by artist manager and former Billboard staffer Bob Benjamin, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1996.
As previously reported, the Nov. 4 show will take place at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Pete Yorn, La Bamba's Big Band with Southside Johnny, Gary US Bonds, Soozie Tyrell, Cindy Bullens and Teddy Geiger are slated to appear.
Joe Grushecky & the Houserockers, who have for the past five years been joined onstage by Bruce Springsteen, will headline the Nov. 5 show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville. Also on the bill will be Yorn, Malin, Garland Jeffreys, Willie Nile and several local acts. The final show, dubbed Writers in the Raw, will feature Grushecky, Malin, Yorn, John Eddie, Jeffrey Gaines and others at the Starland.
