Actor, comedian, writer and musician Steve Martin displays specially inscribed Gibson banjo presented to him Oct. 23 as he receives the eighth annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at Washington's Kennedy Center. Gibson Chairman and CEO Henry Juszkiewicz presented the instrument to Martin, who along with his two Grammys for comedy albums has a Grammy for his banjo playing in the Earl Scruggs's video "Foggy Mountain Breakdown."
