British singer/songwriter Beth Orton will release her fourth studio album, “Comfort of Strangers,” Feb. 7 via Astralwerks. The 14-track set was produced by Jim O'Rourke (Sonic Youth, Wilco), and features his accompaniment on bass, piano and marimba in tandem with drumming from noted Chicago musician Tim Barnes.

“Comfort of Strangers” is Orton's first studio release since 2002's “Daybreaker,” which debuted at No. 40 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 169,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Live dates are in the works in conjunction with the album but have yet to be announced.
