Producer Kwame is currently working on projects for Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Chingy, Mya and Method Man. "A producer never repeats himself," he said. "The energy is different with each artist. But regardless of what type of song I do -- a ballad, uptempo or whatever -- you're going to break your neck; you're going to rock to it."





Akon protege T-Pain says his Konvict Muzik/Jive debut is set for a Dec. 6 release. Akon, meanwhile, has a diamond line coming out. In May, his Konvict Films will roll out its first project. Adds Akon, "I'm also working on music projects by ['N Sync's] J.C. [Chasez], R. Kelly, Biggie Smalls and Keyshia Cole."





In addition to new album "Trillville Reloaded" that's coming in January, Trillville has filmed an MTV pilot called "Trill Recognize Trill." Also in the works is a movie called "Welcome to Trillville." "It's about our whole coming up," says the rapper of the film. "You could call it a documentary."





Among DJ Quik's upcoming productions are projects by Italian singer Natalia ("She's got the whole blue-eyed soul thing going on," Quik says) and an 18-year-old rapper named Ak'Sent.





Funkmaster Flex is doing some designing and marketing with Ford, having just finished customizing a bus for Greyhound that he rode to the Vibe Awards.
