Kanye West, Shakira, Maroon 5's Adam Levine and Fall Out Boy lead the lineup for MTV's 14th annual New Year's Eve broadcast, which will begin at 10:30 p.m. ET. Common, All-American Rejects and Young Jeezy will also perform during the broadcast, while Run-D.M.C.'s Rev. Run is tipped to make an appearance.

The show will be co-hosted by MTV VJ's Damien Fahey, Vanessa Minnillo, Quddus Philippe, La La Vazquez and Susie Castillo. In addition, "MTV's New Year of Music" will follow rapper Ludacris as he distributes instruments, school supplies and athletic equipment to high school students in Mississippi.

In other New Year's Eve news, Mariah Carey has joined the lineup for ABC's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" and will perform live from the Big Apple's Times Square. As previously reported, Hilary Duff will anchor the Los Angeles portion of the event, which will feature performances from Chris Brown, Sean Paul, 311 and 3 Doors Down, among others.

Clark was forced to miss last year's edition of "New Year's Rockin' Eve" while he recovered from a December 2004 stroke.
