The environmental-themed One Earth benefit concert, which was to feature performances from the Strokes, Super Furry Animals and the Darkness, has been postponed from Jan. 28 until an as-yet-unannounced date later this year. The event was to be held at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

"Postponing enables the campaign and concert to benefit from exciting opportunities that will help get the message out to even more people and make the concert even bigger," reads a message on the show's Web site. Original tickets will be honored for the new date, but it is unknown if the same lineup will appear.

Organizer Climate Change Now were hoping to convert 1 million European homes to renewable energy sources in conjunction with the show, which was to also feature performances by Manic Street Preachers, Elbow and Embrace.
