Kid Rock Ropes In Live Favorites

Concert versions of Kid Rock staples like "Cowboy," "Only God Knows Why," "Bawitdaba" and "Cocky" will be found on the upcoming album "Live Trucker," due Feb. 28 via Atlantic.

Concert versions of Kid Rock staples like "Cowboy," "Only God Knows Why," "Bawitdaba" and "Cocky" will be found on the upcoming album "Live Trucker," due Feb. 28 via Atlantic. The 14-track set was recorded throughout Michigan in 2000 and 2004 and features contributions from Rock's former Twsited Brown Trucker bandmates Uncle Kracker and the late Joe C.

Other highlights on "Live Trucker" include a collaboration with Gretchen Wilson "Picture," the studio version of which featured Sheryl Crow. Rock and company also offer up a cover of the Gap Band's "Outstanding."

On the heels of two shows last weekend in his native Detroit in conjunction with the Super Bowl, Rock will hit the road this spring in the United States beginning Feb. 16 in Hollywood, Fla. Also on his itinerary is the April 8 Heritage Motorcycle Rally in Ladson, S.C.

Meanwhile, Rock is continuing work on a new studio album, which will be his first since his self-titled 2003 release.
