Lineups Taking Shape For Japanese Festivals

Broken Social Scene, the Hives, the Scissor Sisters, Mogwai, Killing Joke, the North Mississippi Allstars and Roger Manning are also confirmed for the event.

A few weeks later in Tokyo and Osaka, Metallica, Linkin Park, Massive Attack and Daft Punk will lead the bill for the Summer Sonic Festival, which is set for Aug. 12-13.

The lineup will be rounded out by Arctic Monkeys, Flaming Lips, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance, Stone Sour, Lady Sovereign, Two Gallants, the Kooks and Little Barrie, among others.
