A surprising amount of Billboard.com readers saw the 48th annual Grammy Awards telecast in a bad light. Of 4,392 voters, 70% gave the show a "1" or "poor" rating on a 10-point scale.

Aside from those who "didn't watch" (16%), the opinions of the rest who responded to the poll barely registered, with 3% rating the show "5" or "average," ratings 6-8 netting 2% and all other positions 1%.

Overall, the show drew about 17.6 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research, down from 18.8 million in 2005.
