Anthony Hamilton and Heather Headley will hit the road together this spring, offering a double bill of neo-soul and R&B. The outing begins April 6 in Richmond, Va., and will run through May 13 in Chicago.
Hamilton is touring in support of his 2005 So So Def/Jive album "Ain't Nobody Worryin'," which debuted at No. 19 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 350,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Meanwhile, Headley's recent sophomore RCA set "In My Mind" opened at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 and has shifted 220,000 units. "I don't like the phrase 'sophomore jinx,' but it was there in my head: This album had to be much better than the first one," she recently told Billboard. "I was able to do a lot with this album and feel we have it right. This is 'eureka' time."
Prior to the trek, Hamilton will play a March 23-24 run at London's Criterion Theatre.
