Arcade Fire already holds a field-leading six nominations for the Junos.
Now organizers of Canada's music awards say the indie rock heroes will perform via a taped performance to be broadcast on the CTV network.
Arcade Fire, likely to dominate the prize-giving at the Junos, is unable to attend the March 30 shindig in Winnipeg due to a prior date at Lollapalooza in Santiago, Chile during a South American swing.
The Montreal rockers in 2011 shocked the Grammys by winning album of the year, the industry's most sought-after trophy, and has since enjoyed superstar status.
Rockers OneRepublic and eight-time Juno winner Sarah McLachlan are also among the latest performers added to the Junos lineup.
They join previously announced performers Robin Thicke, Classified, Serena Ryder, The Sheepdogs, Tegan and Sara and Walk Off The Earth.
The Junos will be co-hosted by Classified, Johnny Reid and Ryder.
