Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder Announces Brazil Solo Concerts

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder will head to South America for a trio of solo shows in Brazil in May.

Vedder, who last month wrapped up a solo trek in Australia and New Zealand following Pearl Jam's stint headlining the Big Day Out Festival there, is set to play two dates at São Paulo's Citibank Hall on May 7 and 8 and Rio de Janeiro's Citibank Hall on May 11.

A ticket presale for eligible Pearl Jam fan club members will begin March 12. Tickets will go onsale to the general public on March 17. PearlJam.com has further information on tickets for the three Vedder shows.

Pearl Jam's next announced dates will be a summer tour in Europe that begins June 16 in The Netherlands and runs through July 11 with a concert in Milton Keynes, U.K.

Aside from his recent solo concerts down under, Vedder also popped as a surprise guest during a pair of Bruce Springsteen + the E Street Band concerts in Melbourne and Brisbane in February.
