4. MARIAH CAREY & NICK CANNON Since beginning his career on Nickelodeon, Nick Cannon has forged a successful (if sporadic) musical career, highlighted by his 2003 self-titled solo debut. However, the 31-year-old's sales cannot hold a candle to that of his 42-year-old wife, Mariah Carey, who has spent over two decades pushing the boundaries of mainstream R&B and looks to do so again with her upcoming studio effort. The happy couple has moved a combined 53.6 million copies.

"Roc and Roe's Twelve Days of Christmas" features the celebrity couple's twins

Mariah Carey, a holiday icon for “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” is set to release a holiday children’s book with husband and "America’s Got Talent" host Nick Cannon.

Scholastic will publish "Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas." With illustrations by New York Times best-selling artist AG Ford, the book features the celebrity couple’s twins Roc (Moroccan) and Roe (Monroe) as they put their own spin on the Christmas carol, “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”

The proud parents commented about the picture book’s fall 2014 release in a statement from the publisher, “We are so excited to work with the Scholastic team on our Roc and Roe picture book and we can’t wait until this holiday season.”

“It’s been such a fun and collaborative process and we are thrilled to be working with Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey on this exciting project. 'Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas' is the perfect book to read with your little ones -- an adorable spin on a classic tale, sprinkled with humor and heart,” said Ken Geist, VP and editorial director for Scholastic Press Picture Books.

This is the first book for both Carey and Cannon. Carey is a familiar holiday presence with her song “All I Want for Christmas Is You." A version of the song with her dueting with Justin Bieber has reached over 65 million YouTube views, and the original still stands as the best-selling holiday digital single.

The deal was developed by D. Christopher Jennings and Robert Caruso, founders of Impact Republic, Nick Cannon’s Ncredible Entertainment, and Geist.
