Esteemed indie label Touch & Go will celebrate its 25th birthday with a Sept. 8-10 bash at the Hideout in its Chicago homebase. Twenty-five past and present Touch & Go acts will perform during the party, including Calexico, CocoRosie, Enon, Ted Leo/Pharmacists, Shellac, Pinback, Black Heart Procession and the original lineups of Didjits and Scratch Acid.

Proceeds from the shows will be donated to the Chicago-based Literacy Works, Tuesday's Child and the Thomas Drummond Elementary School.

In related news, Touch & Go is planning a variety of archival projects, having kicked off the process with a compilation from short-lived hardcore act Blight.
