New York's Tribeca Film Festival is greatly expanding its musical offerings this year as part of a Music Lounge sponsored by performing rights society ASCAP. Among this year's performers are Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint, John Mayer, Brazilian Girls, Nellie McKay and James Blood Ulmer.

The Music Lounge will be active from May 2-5 at the Canal Room. Access is only granted to a limited number of Film Festival badge holders. Ticket information can be found at TribecaFilmFestival.org.

Costello and Toussaint's collaboration, which is committed to tape on the upcoming Verve Forecast album "River in Reverse," will also be spotlighted in the documentary "Putting the River in Reverse" that will screen at the festival.

Among the other acts set to perform as part of the Music Lounge are Josh Ritter, Rodney Crowell, Tim Easton, Patty Griffin, Martin Luther and Kazi & the Hip-Hop Project.
