Dashboard Confessional's upcoming, as-yet-untitled album is scheduled for release June 27 on Vagrant. This time around, vocalist Chris Carrabba mainly worked with producer Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Good Charlotte). The duo had previously teamed up for the song "Vindicated" on the "Spiderman 2" soundtrack, and they have been working together on the album ever since.

Originally, Carrabba was working with producer Daniel Lanois (U2). While some of Lanois' contributions are found on the finished product, Gilmore reworked those recordings for the most part, according to a spokesperson.

Gilmore's modern rock-oriented approach can be heard on the high-energy first portion of the album, including opener/first single "Don't Wait" and "Temporary Love." The last five tracks dabble in a less bombastic approach, including "So Long," which features Counting Crows vocalist Adam Duritz.

The new set is the follow-up to 2003's "A Mark, A Mission, A Scar," which has sold 840,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Dashboard has a handful of shows on tap in the coming weeks and will next perform tonight (April 7) in Wilkes Barre, Pa.

Here is the track list for the upcoming album:

"Don't Wait"
"Sweet Lungs"
"Temporary Love"
"Stolen"
"Visions"
"So Long"
"Currents"
"Slow Decay"
"Dusk & Summer"
"Heaven"
