The Seattle Seahawks will vie for a chance at the Super Bowl at this weekend's NFC Championship game, and aside from playing in front of its home crowd, the team will possibly get a boost from one of its hometown favorites: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

The rap duo will perform at halftime of the football game versus the San Francisco 49ers in Seattle this Sunday, Jan. 19, Radio.com reports. The Seattle natives announced the gig via the Seahawks' official webpage.

Macklemore and Lewis aren't just casual fans of the team due to its location. The rapper dons Cortez Kennedy's No. 96 jersey in the duo's video for "White Walls," while also paying tribute in "My Oh My" to the late Dave Niehaus, a former Seahawks broadcaster.

The team's front office is a fan too; the rap-production team's hit "Can't Hold Us" is currently played after every Seattle home touchdown.

The NFC Championship game between the Seahawks and the 49ers is scheduled for kickoff around 6:30 p.m. ET.
