News on Intonation Fest, Kuyahoga, Lili Claire Benefit

Robert Pollard, the Sword, Rhymefest and Erase Errata have been added to the lineup for the Intonation Music Festival, which will be held June 24-25 at Chicago's Union Park. Also new to the bill is legendary rock trio Blue Cheer, which has not played in Chicago in 25 years, as well as former 5ive Style/Heroic Doses guitarist Bill Dolan, who will perform with bassist Matt Lux and Tortoise drummer John Herndon.

As previously reported, the first day of Intonation will boast performances by the Streets, Lady Sovereign, the Boredoms, Jose Gonzalez and the Stills, among others. Day two will feature Bloc Party, Dead Prez, Jon Brion, Lupe Fiasco, Annie and the Constantines.

Flaming Lips, Death Cab For Cutie, Sonic Youth, Secret Machines, Wolfmother, the Go! Team, the Hold Steady and She Wants Revenge have signed on to perform at Kuyahoga, a one-off festival sponsored by Cleveland radio station WXRK. The event will be held Aug. 3 at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Tickets go on sale Saturday (April 15) via Ticketmaster. A number of the participating acts will head west to Chicago afterward to perform at Lollapalooza, which runs Aug. 4-6 at the city's Grant Park.

Lifehouse, Vanessa Carlton and Everclear will perform at the A Concert for Lili Claire benefit, to be held May 6 at Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Events Center. Proceeds will be donated to the Lili Claire Foundation's Family Resource Center, which offers free clinics for children with neurogenetic conditions.

The concert will be hosted by "Seinfeld" star Jason Alexander. Regular tickets are available through Ticketmaster; tickets can also be purchased for a VIP pre-party and a silent auction/cocktail party. For more information on those events, call 702-862-8141.
