Answers to readers' questions about Dannii Minogue, Sugarland and Paris Hilton.
Do you have any news on the new Dannii Minogue album? If and when it comes out, will it be released in the United States? I have seen the video for a song called "So Under Pressure" on Youtube.com. Any ideas on who she is working with this go around?
The single "So Under Pressure" is from Dannii Minogue's forthcoming compilation release, "The Hits and Beyond." The album will be released in the United Kingdom in June. It is unknown if the set will surface in the United States. The set will include a number of new tracks aside from "Pressure."
The singer's last album was 2003's "Neon Nights." That set featured four top 10 U.K. singles: "Who Do You Love Now," "I Begin To Wonder," "Put The Needle on It" and "Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling."

Is there an "official" reason for the departure of one of the members (Kristen Hall) of Sugarland?
Kristen Hall left country trio Sugarland in January. At the time, a statement was posted to group's official Web site (sugarlandmusic.com that said, "Kristen has decided that she wants to stay home and writes songs, and we support her in that decision." I guess that's about as official as it gets.
Sugarland has continued as a duo comprising Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles. They are in the midst of writing new material for their second album, which may be released by the end of the year.
Sugarland's debut album, "Twice the Speed Of Life," has sold 1.9 million copies in the United States since it was released in October 2004, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The Mercury set peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and has spawned five hits on the Hot Country Songs chart, including three top 10 singles.
PARIS IN THE ... SUMMER?
I'm beginning to wonder if Paris Hilton's album is ever going to really come out. I've been hearing good things about it, and it seemed that the single, "Turn It Up," was finally going to come out in May, but it looks as if it has been pushed back yet again. So what have you heard? What do you know? And will it ever come out?
Paris Hilton's album will come out sooner than later. While a release date has not been announced, it will likely drop this summer.
With a project of this nature -- one that involves an extremely high-profile personality -- you can certainly expect that her label, Warner Bros., is being very careful about every aspect of the release.
